She is survived by: her husband John Smith; her children, Jerry Stroup (Carol) of Chaffee, Randy Stroup (Debbie) of Chaffee and Beverly Griggs of Sikeston; her brother Elton Alvey of O'Fallon, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Julie Esterline of Sikeston, Matthew Stroup of Chaffee and Glendon Stroup of Scott City. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
