She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Russell and Audrey Elizabeth Buckner (Kern); her husband Richard William Welter; her siblings, Betty Lou Koechig, James Buckner and Chester Buckner; and her brothers-in-law, J. B. Evans and Lloyd Koechig.
She is survived by: her daughter Trudy LeGrand (Michael) of Brighton, Michigan; her siblings, Peggy Evans of Palm Bay, Florida and Harold Buckner (Melba) of Scott City, Missouri; her grandchildren, Richard LeGrand of Colorado Springs and Russell LeGrand of Brighton, Michigan; her great grandchildren, Evarista LeGrand and Calvin LeGrand; and her close friend Linda Wadlington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In-lieu- of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Missouri Veterans Home BINGO Fund, 2400 Veterans Memorial Drive, Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63701.
