He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Douglas and Marie Hedges Douglas; and his siblings, Bill, James Jefferson Douglas, Margie Mayabb and Margarete Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Gray; his children, Jeffrey Douglas (Charla) of Bloomfield, Missouri, Dianne Schiwitz (Robert) of Benton and Shani Ladd (Todd) of Jackson, Missouri; his grandchildren, Travis Schiwitz (Heidi), Jason Schiwitz (Taylor), Brannon Douglas (Meagan), Tori Whitfield (Al), Drake Douglas, Lenzy Leimbach (Grady) and Emily Ladd; his great grandchildren, Logan Schiwitz, Ashtyn Schiwitz, Shaylen Schiwitz, Brynn Schiwitz, Millie Schiwitz, Kolby Criddle, Jaylyn Whitfield and Kennedi Leimbach; and his brothers, Howard Douglas of Scott City and Richard Douglas of South Roxana, Illinois..
