With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Heisserer (Scott City, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elmer Heisserer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Heisserer and Colletta L. Heisserer (Glastetter); his brothers, Joseph A and Thomas B. Heisserer; his brothers-in-law, Cletus Menz and Frank Cleary; his son-in-law Fred L. Higdon; and his niece Diane Hinkebein.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet "Sue" McIntyre of Mary's Cathedral; his children, Tina Higdon of New Hamburg, Derick Heisserer (Cheryl) of Kelso, Shawn Heisserer (Kyle) of New Hamburg, Craig Heisserer (Martina) of Cape Girardeau and Cory Heisserer (Tina) of Kelso; his siblings, Dorothy Menz, Anna Bollinger (Fred), Helen Cleary, Kathy Boesch (Brian) and Ralph Heisserer (Debbie); and his sisters-in-law, Clare and Sharon Heisserer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Parish Center (1001 State Hwy A, New Hamburg, MO 63740). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (1017 State Hwy A, Chaffee, MO 63736).
