It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Messmer (Scott City, Missouri), born in Arnaudville, Louisiana, who passed away on April 24, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Joseph and Gertrude Amy Lecompte Colomb. She is survived by: her husband James John Messmer; her children, Clark Messmer (Theresa) of Cape Girardeau, Lawrence Messmer (Katy Sparks) of Houma, David Messmer (Kathy) of Marble Hill, Missouri, Penny St (Willie) and Brenda Robertson (John) of Benton, Missouri; and her siblings, Homer Colomb of Houma, Rose Champagne of Luling and Lillie Munson of Paradis, Louisiana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
