He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Wheeler and Mildred Hudson Wheeler; and his son Brian Douglas Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Wheeler; his daughter Kimberly Hanschen (Joe); his grandchildren, Amber Richardson (Todd), Aaron Wheeler (Meagan) and Logan Hanschen; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Briley Richardson, Jonah, Piper and Rowan Wheeler; and his daughter-in-law Marsha Wheeler.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
