He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lumpkin and Effie Lumpkin (Daniel); his parent-in-law Shirley Ann Stankiewitz; and his son Chester Lumpkin. He is survived by: his sons, Robert B. Lumpkin (Diane) of Tucson, AZ and Jimmy Lumpkin (Nancy) of Harrisonville, MO; his grandchildren, Tamara Roberts and Jacob J. Lumpkin (Monica); and his great grandchildren, Emma Ann Beckemeier, Zoey Lynn Beckemeier and Nevaeh Lumpkin.
Memorial contributions can be made to Fisher House Foundation for Military & Veteran Families 4801 E. Linwood Blvd. Inurnment will be at Fort Leavenworth Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas at a later date.
