He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Brooks Brunk (Prussman); and his grandchildren, Lilly and Morgan Myers. He is survived by: his father Jerald Lee "Jerry"; his fiancée Joy Thompson; his daughters, Melissa Harrison (Carson), Cassie Brunk and Jessi Johnson; his sister Dana Medsker (Donnie); his son Cole; and his grandchildren, Bayleigh and Jacob Harrison.
