Gary Lowrance Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lowrance of Savannah, Missouri, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gary departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gary. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lowrance and Mildred Lowrance (Davis); and his sister Carol Lowrance. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lea Swink; his son Brad Lowrance; his granddaughters, Cameron and Emilea Lowrance; and his brother Jim Lowrance. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, others extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is collecting donations for the Missouri Western State University Respiratory Therapy Program.
