It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Ruth Miller of Savannah, Missouri, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl M. Wise and Bessie L. Wise (Moutray); her spouse Dorman Reid Miller; and her sister Beverly Farr of Gower. She is survived by: her children, Joyce E. Colman (Jim) of Country Club, MO, Mary Jane Weaver (Dave) of Gallatin, TN and Wayne R. Miller (Charlene) of Savannah, MO; her sister Imogene L. Smith of Wichita, KS; her grandchildren, Christopher Colman (Stephanie) of Kansas City, MO, Michelle Carter of Colorado Springs, CO, Jason Miller of Platte City, MO, Casey Loch (Rob), Shawn Carter (Cherie) of College Grove, TN and Jill McCoy (Jeff) of Savannah, MO; and her great grandchildren, Tucker McCoy (Avery) of Des Moines, IA, Tate McCoy of Savannah, MO, Quinton Loch, Jaxton Carter of College Grove, TN, Ella Colman of Kansas City, MO, Brooks, Ivy Jo, Molly and Kit Miller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Church Opals, American Legion Auxiliary Dick Munkres Post, News-Press Twenty-Five Year Club, Andrew County Museum and Historical Society, RSVP Volunteer, Senior Center Volunteer, former member Pony Express ABWA and an Andrew County 4-H Leader.
