With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Anthony Cowles of Sarcoxie, Missouri, born in Mount Vernon, Missouri, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 39. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Cowles; his daughter Mary Beth Cowles; and his grandparents, Galen Edward and Mary Elizabeth Harvill. He is survived by: his parents, Robin Lynne Cowles and Harvill; his children, Chevy Anthony Cowles and Madison Riley Cowles of Mt. Vernon, MO; and his siblings, Katrina Griffis (Curtis) of Monett, MO, Melina Lynne Shields of Rogers, AR, Amber Rose Salvador of Fountain City, CO, Amber Jo Riley (Jeremy) of Liberal, MO, Brandy Lee Dodson of Springfield, MO, Holly Christine Dodson of Lamar, MO and David Boyd Lee Dodson II (Samantha) of Joplin, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
