It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Margaret Bowman in Sarcoxie, Missouri, born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Mike Grimes; and her grandparents, Barnie, Katheryn Maxfield, Charles and Dorothy Grimes.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Bowman; her daughters, Chelsea Sherwood (Josh) and Lauren Johnson (Colton) of Diamond, MO; her granddaughter Alexus Sherwood of Seneca, MO; her brother Darin Grimes (Lynette) of Joplin, MO; her aunt Michelle Lenz (Doug) of Kansas City, MO; and also Barbara Howard (David) of Joplin, MO. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Camp Quality of the Ozarks, in care of Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home, Sarcoxie, MO.
