He was predeceased by: his son Lawrence Louis Katzfey, Jr.; and his siblings, Leo, Clarence, Joseph, Francis, Richard, Edmund Katzfey, Emma Palmer, Marie Wormington, Louise Eck and Anna Mae Gruber.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Katzfey (Tinkle); his daughters, Theresa Sooter (Dennis), Susan Conley (Jim) and Sylvia Evans (Randy); and his child-in-law Dewenda Katzfey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Follow Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home (211 N 9th St, Sarcoxie, MO 64862). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (26952 Cherry Rd, Sarcoxie, MO 64862). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the St. Agnes Cemetery (26952 Cherry Rd, Sarcoxie, MO 64862).
