He is survived by: his former wife Kathy Ames; his children, Clayton Hartman (Valerie) of Bucyrus, MO, Thomas Hartman (Marilyn) of Houston, MO, Daniel Hartman (Cindy) of Houston, MO, Brian Hartman (Annette) of Summersville, MO, Pamela Sowell (Gary) of Houston, MO and Julie Hartman (Charles Riley); his brother James C. Hartman; and his stepchildren, Melinda Bogle (Kevin) of Neosho, MO, Ramona Brandon of Joplin, MO, Peggy Mattox Lentz of Joplin, MO, Tamera Elliott (Ernie) of Palatka, FL and Gregory Mattox of Oklahoma City, OK. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
