She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Young and Maria Washam Young; her husband James Winfred Dowell; her son James Milton Dowell; her brothers, Gilbert, Curtis, Virgil (Helen), Clifford (Marie) and Cleatis (Joyce Young); and her siblings-in-law, Maude Fitzgerald (Bill), Lorene Whitaker (Otis), Maureen Pleyer (Henry), Donys Bartholomew (Harold), Helen Bartholomew (Troy), Mary Niemeier (Bernard) and Russell Dowell (Dixie).
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Howard (Bob) of Ozark; her daughter-in-law Margaret Dowell of Brookfield, Missouri; her sister Thelma Ross of Overland Park, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Rodney Cline (Holly) of Ozark, Jimmy Dowell (Jeanine) of Boonville, Missouri, Jamie Dowell of Ozark, Patty Huff (Jeff) of Springdale, Brenda Baehler (Dalvin) of Mustang and Teresa Hay of Yukon, Oklahoma. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
