With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Grace Carter of Salisbury, Missouri, who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Grace Carter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Forbis and Georgia Ann Forbis (Riley); her husband Charles Ray Carter; and her siblings, Ray, Robert, Charles, David Forbis and Ann Ragsdale.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard "Duck" Carter (Ann) of Salisbury, MO and Dwain Carter (Leslie) of Winder, GA; and her grandchildren, Allen Carter (Katie), Aaron Carter (LeAnn), Brett Carter (Jessica), Jessica Coffelt (Jeremy) and Wendi Curtis (Craig). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Salisbury Municipal Golf Course (Please make checks payable to SMGC).
