He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Stanfield and Wanda Stanfield (Hurt). He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Stanfield; his children, Carissa Stanfield and Carl Stanfield; and his siblings, Bonnie Tucker (Tony) of Fairview Heights, IL, Debbie Stanfield of Marceline, MO, Angie Passig (Glenn) of Bell, MO and Bob Stanfield of Bucklin, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to John's heart.
