He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hartmann and Angeline Hartmann (Henke); his sister Cecilia Thyer; his brothers-in-law, Bernard Schreiner and Jean Brien; his niece Sherry Hartmann; and his nephews, Larry Hartmann and Kevin Schreiner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Hartmann (Carlene) of Salisbury, MO, Lawrence Hartmann (Sharon) of Salisbury, MO, Charles Hartmann (Paula) of Salisbury, MO, Steve Hartmann (Rita) of Salisbury, MO, Donnie Hartmann (Lucy) of Salisbury, MO, George Hartmann of Columbia, MO, Agnes Schreiner of Lexington, MO, Lucile Hartmann of Colorado Springs, CO, Helen Johanning (Bob) of Glasgow, MO and Carole Brien of Salisbury, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
