He was predeceased by: his parents, William Givens and Jessie Givens (Hurst); and his niece Pam Dawn Givens. He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Givens of Salisbury, MO, Bill Givens (Jeanette) of Huntsville, MO and Willa Burris of Salisbury, MO; and his half-sisters, Dorothy Munoz and Sabina Givens of Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salisbury City Cemetery.
