He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Lain and Edna Lain (Wilson); his wife Virginia Aurig; his sons, Allen Lain and Norman Lain; his siblings, Roy W. Lain, Mildred Graham, Thelma Priest and Katherine Minks; and his nephew Robert Minks.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth "Gene" Lain (Connie) of Lees Summit, MO and Andrew Lain (Elizabeth) of Little Rock, AR.; his daughter-in-law Debra Griffith of Sedalia, MO; and his nephews, Charles and David Minks.
