We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2020, at the age of 48, Darius William Sewell of Salisbury, Missouri, born in West Point, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Sewell; his stepfather Robert Sheppard; and his grandparents, John, Dorothy Neville, Virgil and Rena Sewell.
He is survived by: his son John Cowherd of Higginsville, MO; his stepchildren, Annabeth Lee-Regier of Salisbury, MO and Aidan Lee-Regier of Kansas City, KS; his mother Carol Sheppard (Neville) of Triplett, MO; his siblings, Aaron Sewell of Raytown, MO, Damon Sewell (Nicole) of Macon, MO and Ashley Sewell (Jennifer) of Marshall, MO; his parents-in-law, Terry and Barb Winther of Omaha, NE; and his sisters-in-law, Wynetta Jones (Keith) of Omaha, NE and Nichole Winther of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Larry's Warriors, McCullough Cemetery, or support the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by donating to CommCare in Kansas City, MO, which is our local crisis center.
