The memory of Billie Ponder of Salisbury, Missouri, who passed away on March 11, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ponder and Margaret Ponder; his wife Janet "Jan" Lorreen Harvey; his stepmother Mary Edna Ponder (Powell); his son Rodney Ponder; and his sisters, Delma Henke, Lilla Agnes Nelson and Thelma Lucille Kinnaird.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ronda Henke (Randy) of Salisbury, MO and Ralinda Wilkey (Brent) of Salisbury; his daughter-in-law Sue Ponder of Salisbury, MO; his grandchildren, Matt Ponder (Stephanie), Sara Ponder, Paul Henke (Bev), Andy Henke (Amber), Dr. Tressa Aholt (Cale), Ross Wilkey (Gracie) and Gwen Wilkey; and his great grandchildren, Lindsey McGee, Jake Burris, Trinity McSparren, Briana Ponder, Seleena Ponder, Callie Henke, Adyn Henke, Breck Aholt, Dawson Henke, Camsyn Aholt, Adam Henke, Bexley Aholt, Taelyn Aholt and Ruby Ponder. He is also survived by four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Summerville Funeral Home (601 US-24, Salisbury, MO 65281). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Prairie Hill Cemetery.
