She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Thomas and Flossie Thomas; her son-in-law Joseph Eckstein III; her grandson Nicholas; and her great grandchild Brandon.
She is survived by: her children, Nyoka Parks of Iowa, Debra Eckstein of Iowa, John "Smokey" Parks (Rhonda) of Salem, MO, Luke Parks and Tabitha Cottrell of Iowa. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
