With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Stephenson of Salem, Missouri, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on September 26, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Winkler and Pearl Winkler; her children, Debra Norman Mike Spraggins, Virginia Hieb and Richard Spraggins; and her siblings, James Winkler, Marshall "Tee Tye" Winkler, Frank Winkler, Robert Winkler, Chuck Winkler, Katherine Winkler, Dorothy Winkler and Agnes Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Stephenson; her children, Terry Spraggins of Salem, MO, Shirley Foster (Harold) of Bakersfield, CA, Robin Burrough (Leland Wesley) of Fresno, CA, Chris Spraggins, Rebecca Caufield (Ed) and Vicky Smith of Stockton, CA; her stepsons, Larry Stephenson and Edward Stephenson; and her brothers, Bill Winkler of Oklahoma City, OK and Luther Dewayne Winkler. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
