She was predeceased by: her mother Faye Roberts (Davis); her husband Charles Whitmire; her daughter-in-law Annette Whitmire; her granddaughter Jenny Carmier Summers; her father Earl Roberts; her parents-in-law, Clark and Dale Whitmire; and her siblings, Lloyd, Henry, Wayne, Dorothy and Christine.

She is survived by: her children, Chuck Whitmire (Alhesha) of Rolla, MO and Karen Carmier (Stewart) of Salem, MO; her grandchildren, Kyle Whitmire (Melanie), Ryan Whitmire, Tyler Whitmire (Erica), Aimee Whitmire, Drew Carmier (Meredith), Emily Huskey (Kyle), Ethan Lane (Caroline) and Miranda Lane; and her great grandchildren, Marek, Keira, Addyson, Aiden, Maylen, Kenley, Mila, Evelyn, Annalyn, Charles, Brooks, Maggie, Eleanor and Avett.

Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Shirley Whitmire to Grace Harbor and left with Wilson Mortuary.
