He was predeceased by: his wife Ollie Sumpter (Suhling); his parents, Emmett Sumpter and Lorraine Sumpter; and his siblings, Jim, Russ, Mitchell, Jerry, Don and Shirlene.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Sumpter (Michelle) of Bixby, MO and Rebecca Sumpter of Williamsburg, MO; his sisters, Marilyn Dotson of Viburnum, MO and Melba Miller of Illinois; and his grandchildren, Kolten Sumpter, Preston Sumpter, Jayden Sumpter, Julie Sumpter, Sawyer Sumpter, Brittani Webb, Tiffani Webb, Emmitt Webb and Tristin Webb. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
