He was predeceased by: his sons, Douglas Eugene Swearengin and Dallas Paul Swearengin; his parents, Lora Swearengin and Cordelia Swearengin; his siblings, Joe Swearengin, Norman Swearengin and Lois Hammons; his brother-in-law Harold Schuenemann; his sons-in-law, Gary Chilton and Rick McDaniel; and his stepgranddaughter Chelsea Nickles.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Swearengin of Salem, MO; his daughters, Beulah Chilton of Salem, MO, Karen Hogan (David) of Salem, MO and Pamela Todd (Jack) of Salem, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Schuenemann and Jerry Hawkins (Janice). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Orville Swearengin to Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and left with Wilson Mortuary.
