It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Faye (Hanson) Penrod (Salem, Missouri), born in Boss, Missouri, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Thurber and Juanita Doris Hanson (Brooks); her husband Orman Penrod; her siblings, George, Jimmy Hanson and Mae Hutson; and her niece Janice Cooksey.
She is survived by: her sister Sally Kerr (Loal) of Salem, MO; her grandchildren, Cheyenne, Memphis, Jackson, William and Ellie; her nieces and nephews, Angie Deichler, Diane Carney, Debbie Heidtke, Linda Kerr, Dan, Debbie Kerr, Janet, Steve Delatte, Mike and Becky Kerr; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Josh Cox, Trenton Carney, Megan Carney, Justin, Jennifer Roderman, Tony Roderman, Jana, Kyle Anderson, Morgan Campey, Zack and Riley Kerr; and her nieces and nephews, Caitlyn Florence, Olivia, Carter, Lola Roderman, Lairyn and Graham Campey. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
