It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavana Jo Merritt (Salem, Missouri), who passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Daniel; her husband Dean Merritt; her mother Jewel Fulton (Pender); her siblings, Paul Fulton and Ernestine Walker; her sister-in-law Charlene Fulton; and her granddaughter Lisa Roofe.

She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Roofe (Tom) of Salem Missouri; her brother James Fulton; her grandson Michael Roofe (Shelly); her great grandchildren, Derek Roofe (Wendy), Chandler Gray (Lexy), Lindsay Roofe, Makalynn Roofe, Parker Roberts (Kyrstin) and Noah Roberts; and her great great grandchildren, Tyler Roofe and Beau Roberts.

Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Lavana Merritt and left with Wilson Mortuary.
