He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Sara Conway; and his grandparents, Lawrence, Lovie Terrill, John Dee Whitaker and Thelma Welchel.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Whitaker of Salem, MO; his children, Kari Johns (Billy Williams) of Salem, MO, Dylan Burke, Angel Lowe of Washington, MO, Cody Whitaker of Salem, MO and Caitlyn Whitaker (Steven Taylor) of Salem, MO; his stepdaughter Samantha Radford (Kenneth) of Salem, MO; his parents, James Whitaker and Beverly Whitaker of Salem, MO; his siblings, Jimmy Whitaker of Salem, MO and Regina Yates (Danny) of Salem, MO; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Mackenzie, Zach, Rowdy, Wylder, Aleigha, Sawyer and Nolan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
