He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorris E. Black and Rhonda Wilma Black (Phelps). He is survived by: his wife Emma "Sandy" Black of Salem, MO; his daughters, Dana Avent (BJ) of St. Louis, MO and Julie Black (Bryan McClure) of O'Fallon, MO; his grandchildren, Caren Rose, Shelby Avent and Victoria McClure; his great grandchildren, Allexus, Logan, Gunner, Casey and Nova Lee; his close friend George Alex; and his siblings-in-law, Goldie Mae Masterson and Andy Gatchel.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
