She was predeceased by: her children, Marilyn Guffey, Cathy Plounder and Jesse Johnston; her grandson Dylan Johnston; her parents, Robert Johnston and Edna Johnston; and her siblings, Earl Johnston, Delcie Lepping, Floyd Johnston and Alva Johnston.
She is survived by: her son David Johnston (Judy) of Bourbon, MO; her brother Lloyd Johnston of Neosho, MO; and her grandchildren, David Johnston Jr. (Cassie), John Johnston (Susan), Chris Johnston, Nikki Guffey, Ashley Guffey, Sarah Plank (Zach), Todd Bounds (Tara), Jason Bounds, Scott Johnston (Melissa), Eric Johnston and Danny Johnston (Jessica). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson Mortuary - Salem (1000 Scenic Rivers Blvd, Salem, MO 65560). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
