It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delphia June (Parker) Callahan of Salem, Missouri, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Carl Callahan; her parents, Emmit Parker and Lily Parker; and her brothers, Carl Parker and Donald Radford.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon Mathes of Salem, MO; her sons, Kevin Callahan (Lynette) of Jackson, MO, Carl "Keith" Callahan (Rebecca) of Troy, MO and Kelly Callahan (Alanna) of Desloge, MO; her stepson Shawn Mathes of Sedalia, MO; and her siblings, Lynn Bailey, Russell Parker (Leasa), Norma Koonce (Don) and Bob Parker. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Delphia Callahan to St. Jude Children's Hospital and left at Wilson Mortuary.
