With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Lou (Pryor) Summers Gray of Salem, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth "Jiggs" Summers; her former husband Ellis Gray Sr.; her daughter Patty Shults; her grandson Brandon Summers; her stepson Ellis "Skip" Gray Jr.; and her siblings, Verna Pryor and Harry "Bud" Pryor.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Summers (Joyce) of Salem, MO and David Summers (Nancy) of Lone Jack, MO; her stepdaughter-in-law Gina Gray; her stepdaughter Sandy Behringer; and her grandchildren, Michael Summers (Diana), Jay Medlock (Stacy), Andy Summers (Alicia), Amy Capps (Ben), Brian Summers (Jordan), Holly Bremmerkamp (Brad), Derek Summers, Brock Summers, Danielle Dunlop and Michelle Dunlop. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Mortuary - Salem (1000 Scenic Rivers Blvd, Salem, MO 65560). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Betty Gray to the Dry Fork Cemetery Fund and left with Wilson Mortuary.
