She was predeceased by: her father William Franklin; her husband James Quick; her children, James Quick Jr. (Karen) of Salem, MO and Linda Darling Downing; her mother Nellie Bowen-Sampson (Faulkner); her siblings, Gurnie Bowen (Geraldine) and Geneva Merritt; and her great grandchildren, Ashton Jaymes Thomas and Devin Charles Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Quick (Sherry) of Salem, MO, Cecil Quick (Teresa Lewis) of Salem, MO, Jake Quick of Salem, MO and Gurnie Quick (Hiawatha Meyers) of Salem, MO; and her sister Frances Rutheford of Fredricktown, MO. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
