It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Edward Kist (Sainte Genevieve, Missouri), who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marie A. Kist; and his parents, Rita T. Kist and Welton Kist. He is survived by: his sons, Ted Kist of Sainte Genevieve, MO, Mike Kist of Sainte Genevieve, MO and Benjamin Kist (Katie) of Perryville, MO; his brother Robert "Bob" Kist (Bert); and his grandchildren, Mallory Kist, Natalie Boughamer (Noah) and Jacob Kist.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Basler Funeral Home (685 Center Dr, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Church of Ste. Genevieve (49 Dubourg Pl, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Valle Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Ted Kist in care of Mike Kist for future living expenses.
