He was predeceased by: his wife LaVerne Jokerst (Bahr); and his father Valentine Jokerst. He is survived by: his children, Vicky Hermann (Jerry) of Bloomsdale, MO, Becky Fleischmann (Ed) of Arnold, MO, Tina Bader (Gary) of Sainte Genevieve, MO, Rodney Jokerst (Paula) of Lake Zurich, IL and Eric Jokerst (Michelle) of Bloomsdale, MO; his sisters, Bernice Bauman of Zell, MO and Earlyn Wehner of Sainte Genevieve, MO.; his grandchildren, Jill Hertlein (Jason), Kelly Clark (Austin) of Maria Hermann, EJ Fleischmann, Tricia Kras (Doug), Nikki DenDekker (Chase), Angella Miles, Andrew Bader (Lindsey), Katie Weinrich (Mike), Caroline Jokerst (Ben Sudkamp), Abby Jokerst (Casey McCartney), Natalie, William Jokerst, Emma, Brooke, Lydia and Owen Jokerst; his great grandchildren, Nathan and Lucy Hertlein; his grandchildren, Autumn, Jayden, Peyton Clark, Adriana, Aaliyah Miles, Adelyn DenDekker, Ava Kras, Brecken Bader and Hayden Weinrich; his children, Emma Jokerst (Huck), Oswin Jokerst, Leander Jokerst, Victor Jokerst and Flavian Jokerst; and his sister Charlotte Grogg. He is also survived by his sons, sons-in-law and grandkids.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Basler Funeral Home (685 Center Dr, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Ste. Genevieve (49 Dubourg Pl, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670).
