He was predeceased by: his father Sylvester Strickland; his siblings, Edna Strickland, Marie Cunningham, Doris Copeland, Peggy Maggison, Robert Strickland and Roger Strickland; his son-in-law Carl Steele; and his sister-in-law Ellen Strickland.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Strickland (Copeland); his children, Lora Steele of Ste. Genevieve, Kenneth Strickland (Angie) of Ste. Genevieve and Lance Strickland (Elizabeth) of Farmington; his grandchildren, Seth (Ashley), Ethan, Kelsey (Jesse), Kyle and Heath; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Kaylee, Emma, Maxwell, William, Claire, Aurora, Blake and Chloe; and his siblings, Dale Strickland (Sharon) of Ste. Genevieve, Judith Gilliam (Jim) of Bonne Terre and Billy Strickland of Farmington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
