He is survived by: his wife LaVonna Herzog (Chapis); his children, Kimberley "Kim" Schrum (Eric), David Herzog (Pam) and Amanda Gross (John); and his grandchildren, Hueston Schrum, Wyatt Herzog, Logan Herzog and Braxton Gross. He is also survived by many friends and family.
