He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry James Thilking, Sr. and Violet Hatfield (Beckline); his son John Helm; his brother-in-law Ronnie Gibson; and his nephew Fred Thilking.
He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Thilking (Kennedy); his children, Dana Keever (Bruce), Sheila Killian (Jesse), Shannon Alifonso, Chris Stamm (Desiree), Renae Wehmeier (Eric) and Tricia Thilking (J. D.); his siblings, Wayne Thilking (Frannie) and Elaine Gibson; and his nephews, Ronnie "Skeeze" Gibson and Hank. He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren.
