We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 93, Emerita R. Bergtholdt (Sainte Genevieve, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Donald Bergtholdt; her parents, Joseph A. Baechle, Sr. and Julitta M. Baechle; and her sisters, Loretta Thomas, Lorraine Jenrette, Rosella Kellner and Wilma Nations (Elmer Baechle).
She is survived by: her children, Robert D. Bergtholdt of Maryland Heights, MO, Daniel R. Bergtholdt of North Augusta, SC, Stephen J. Bergtholdt of Danville, CA, Susan J. Berger of Elysburg, PA, Patricia A. Gadell of Saint Louis, MO, Janet R. Crosby of Milton, FL and Dawn Y. Levins of McDonough, GA. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Basler Funeral Home (685 Center Dr, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Church of Ste. Genevieve (49 Dubourg Pl, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670).
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Humane World for Animals (formerly Humane Society) or Alzheimer's Association.
