He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Giesler and Amanda Giesler (Kreitler); his siblings, Margaret Grein (Raymond), Leonard Giesler (Mercedes), Clete Giesler, Greg Giesler, Norvella Wolk (Eddie), MaryAnn Drury (Burton) and Stella Mae Palmer; and his brother-in-law Leroy Werner.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Giesler (Thompson); his daughters, Tania Hoehn (Tim) and Tiffany Merriman; his grandchildren, Jorden Hoehn, Cody Hoehn, Zachary Merriman and Drew Merriman; his siblings, Francis Giesler (Glenda) and Irene Werner; and his siblings-in-law, Cleta Giesler, Helen Giesler and Tim Palmer.
