He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Boessen and Alma Boessen (Lueckenotto); and his siblings, Phillip, John, Norbert Boessen, Flora Kirkweg, Bernadine Bax and Agnes Benne.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Boessen; his children, David Boessen (Linda) of St. Thomas, Janice Struemph (Carl) of St. Elizabeth, Eric Boessen (Roseanne) of St. Thomas, Sandy Koetting (Paul) of Marys Home, Rhonda Heckemeyer (Curt) of St. Elizabeth and Fred Boessen (Mandi) of St. Thomas; his grandchildren, Jessie Peters, Clayton Boessen, Drew Boessen, Tyler Struemph, Levi Struemph, Mackenzie Struemph, Keith Boessen, Kristin Boessen, Dylan Koetting, Paige Chapman, Brady Heckemeyer, Nick Heckemeyer, Ellie Boessen, Sadie Boessen, Carson Boessen and Jack Boessen; his great grandchildren, Beckett, Bodie Peters, Grayson, Arya Struemph, Emery, Konley Chapman and Hazel Koetting; and his sister Anne Boessen of Wardsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
