It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Erwin Sass of Saint Peters, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Sass and Margarete Sass (Voelker); and his sister Vera Wutz. He is survived by: his wife Betty M. Sass; his children, Will Sass (Deborah), Bets Yaeger (Scott), Versy Wies (Terry) and Matt Sass (Patti); and his grandchildren, Jon Wies (Kaitlin), Julie Yaeger, Jacob Sass (Mendy), Daniel Wies (Jill), Eric Sass (Sondre), Christie Brinkman, Kay Townsend (Will), Nat Sass (Carissa), Noah Sass (Karis) and Dori Switzer (Hayden). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
