He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Freant and Gertrude Freant; and his brother-in-law Tom Dolan. He is survived by: his wife Karen Freant; his children, Dawn Freant (Raymond), Tracy Freant (Richard) and James Freant II (Jen); his siblings, Mike Freant (Nancy), Steve Freant (Shelly), Joyce Hogan (Ray) and Melanie Dolan; and his grandchildren, Melanie Erwin (Jerad), Steven Key, Brandon Key (Nicole), Brittany Ockerhausen (Kevin), Savannah Erwin (Lawerence), Ethan Erwin (Jessica), Ricky Garner, Patricia Kite (Jason), Raymond Kite, Tabatha Layher and Katie Shipman. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
