He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Swain; his stepson Guy McDaniel; his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Emily; his sisters-in-law, Thelma "Penny" Indelicato and Linda Decker; and his nephews, Tim Ruesch and Jason Swain.
