William Whedon Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to William Whedon (Saint Louis, Missouri). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cynthia M. Hein and Jonathan H. Hein. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Kolk Whedon; his granddaughter Alexandria Ray Youmans; and his sisters, Sarah Donovan (James) and Melissa Beyerlein.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Lemay March.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish to honor his memory do so by extending kindness to others, just as William always did.
