He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lee Creed; his children, Joy Shaw of Edwardsville, Illinois, William "Bill" Francis Jr. of St. Louis, Richard Francis of St. Charles, Steven Francis of St. Charles and Kenny Francis of St. Louis, Missouri; and his siblings, Don Francis of Jacksonville, Florida and Ruth Avery of Essex, Missouri. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and by seventeen great-grandchildren.
