Virginia (Ginny) May Andersen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia (Ginny) May Andersen (Saint Louis, Missouri), who passed away on November 29, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Bob Thiess, Vera Imse (Theiss) and Donald Theiss. She is survived by: her husband Gunnar Andersen; her sons, Keith Andersen, Eric Andersen (Diane) and John (Stephanie); and her grandchildren, Eric Andersen, Brian (Kathryn), Rebekka Torre (Michael), James Andersen and Jacob Andersen.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jay B Smith Funeral Home (7456 Manchester Ave, Maplewood, MO 63143). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Jay B. Smith Maplewood Chapel (7456 Manchester Ave, Maplewood, MO 63143). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
