Vincent U. Rapini Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2024, at the age of 101, Vincent U. Rapini Sr. (Saint Louis, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Serafino Rapini and Maria Rapini; his wife Phyllis Ann Rapini; his sisters, Lena Contestabile, Catherine Bert and Anna Carson; and his nieces and nephews, Edmond, Clarence, Dahlia, Alex, Vincent and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his children, Vincent Rapini Jr. (late Patricia), Ken Rapini (Nita), Mel Rapini (Krista) and Maria Revels (Richard); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Vincent (Laura), Greg (Candace), Brian (Lindsay), Tim, Michael (Allie), Sam (Alicia), Katie, Alex and Angelina; and his great grandchildren, Vincent, Jack, Sophia, Evelyn, Ian, Ben, Henry, Emily, Molly, Beverly and Isaac.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel (4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
